I, the founder and chairman of the “N. I. Institute of Education” would like to extend my warm and heartiest welcome to all the stakeholders including students, teachers and local peers belonging to the surrounding catchment areas of this Institution This Institution is established at Nambol Maibam along the Naorem Inter-village Road, Nambol Sub-Division, Bishnupur District of the state of Manipur to cater specially to the need of  SC/ST/OBC students on NO PROFIT NO LOSS BASIS to promote the higher education by providing Innovative Technologies of Teaching Learning tools to achieve their goals and success in their lives.

The motto of the Institute is “Innovation, Transformation and Excellence” and with this slogan the Institution has a well-defined Mission and Vision. The course curriculum of the Manipur University adopted by the Institution is flexible and diversified with various career options strictly adhering to the guidelines specified under NEP, 2020.

The Institution though initially established with two Under-Graduate Courses i.e. B.A. & B. Sc. But aims to expand the existing courses into various integrated programmes in near future like dual Degrees Programme, Intergrated four years B.Ed. Programme, degrees with Career Oriented Programmes etc.

National Educational Policies (NEP) 2020 envisions a massive transformation in education through an education system that contributes directly to transforming India sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society by providing high quality education to all, thereby making India a global knowledge Superpower. The NEP 2020is founded on the five guiding pillars i.e. Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability and Accountability. It will prepare our youth to meet the diverse national and global challenges of the present and future.

The N.I.I.E. strictly comply the NEP 2020 under its diverse course structure and contexts. The Institution further looks forward towards the need based teachers’ education programme to be able to provide to teachers’ qualities, who are the backbones of the Nation building for which the teachers will be trained by a quality faculty development programs like Seminar, Workshops, Refresher courses etc.
